02Thesis

Most firms are dabbling in AI. Not getting results. Not able to scale. Investments of any kind can't start with the solution, and AI is no exception — it's the shiny must-have, but it has to start from business imperatives, not the other way around. Most firms can't afford, or don't want, a full-time Chief AI Officer. They need someone in the room who sees the business opportunity and orchestrates a mature approach.

Provectia exists for that middle period — after you’ve realized AI governance is not a compliance line-item, and before you’ve hired the leader who makes it permanent.

03How I work

Four principles, non-negotiable.

01

Governance before velocity.

Speed without governance is just exposure. That means more than a decision owner — it means guardrails for what models can and can't do, policies for how performance is monitored, and a clear accountability chain from the board down.

02

Fractional, not forever.

Our job is to make ourselves unnecessary. When an engagement ends, it should end with the board recruiting a full-time CAIO and we transferring the playbook. That is how a fractional CAIO does the job right.

03

One sector. One client.

We do not take parallel leadership roles in the same sector. Conflicts of interest are governance failures, and we cannot advise on one while practicing another. Confidentiality is directly linked to value.

04

Engagements, not experiments.

Provectia isn't a consultancy with a delivery practice running pilots. We sit on your side of the table, carrying your accountability. Every engagement is structured to produce a board-ready decision, not a prototype.
